Romanta Community Guidelines

Our Mission: Romanta is a community built on respect, authenticity, and the pursuit of meaningful connections. These guidelines outline the standards of behavior we expect from all members to ensure a safe, positive, and enjoyable experience for everyone.

1. BE RESPECTFUL

Treat every member with courtesy, dignity, and respect—both in your profile and in all communications. We have zero tolerance for:

  • Hate speech, racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, or discrimination based on religion, nationality, disability, or any other protected characteristic.
  • Bullying, harassment, threats, or intimidation.
  • Personal attacks, insults, or abusive language.

2. BE AUTHENTIC

  • Use Recent and Accurate Photos: Profile pictures must be of you, recent, and not misleading. No heavily filtered or edited photos that significantly alter your appearance. Do not post photos of children, celebrities, or other people without their explicit consent.
  • Represent Yourself Honestly: Be truthful in your profile information—age, occupation, relationship status, and intentions. For the Matching Path, providing false information during your interview is grounds for immediate termination of service without refund.
  • One Person, One Account: Maintain only one active Romanta account.

3. KEEP IT SAFE & APPROPRIATE

  • No Inappropriate Content: Do not post sexually explicit, pornographic, or violent content in profiles, photos, or messages.
  • Protect Personal Information: Do not share your own or solicit others' private contact information (phone numbers, email addresses, social media handles, home addresses) in public profiles or early communications. Use our secure in-app messaging system.
  • No Solicitation: The Romanta community is not for commercial activity. Do not use the service to advertise, promote businesses, recruit, solicit money, or engage in sex work or "sugar" arrangements.
  • Respect Boundaries: If someone is not interested or asks you to stop communicating, respect their decision.

4. PATH-SPECIFIC CONDUCT

  • For All Users: The above rules apply to everyone.
  • For Matching Path Members: You are expected to engage with the matchmaking process in good faith. This includes being punctual and prepared for interviews, providing honest feedback to your matchmaker, and treating your curated introductions with the same respect outlined above. Abusive or unprofessional behavior towards your Romanta matchmaker will not be tolerated.

5. EVENT CONDUCT

Whether attending a Romanta-hosted or a third-party event listed on our platform, you are expected to uphold our community standards of respect and safety. Behavior that violates these guidelines at any event may result in action against your Romanta account.

6. REPORTING & CONSEQUENCES

Help us keep the community safe. If you encounter behavior that violates these guidelines:

  • Use the "Report" feature on a user's profile or within a conversation.
  • Contact our Customer Support team directly.

We review all reports and may take actions including:

  • Removing offending content.
  • Issuing a warning.
  • Temporarily suspending an account.
  • Permanently banning an account and associated payment methods.
  • For Matching Path clients, immediate termination of service without refund for serious violations.
